Modifying Email Quota in cPanel

Overview:
This documentation provides instructions on how to set and adjust email storage (quota) for individual email accounts within cPanel, especially considering varying hosting plan restrictions.

Prerequisites:

  • Admin access to cPanel.
  • Familiarity with creating email accounts in cPanel.

Procedure:

1. Accessing cPanel: Commence by logging into your cPanel.

2. Locating the Email Module: Proceed to the 'Email' category within cPanel.

3. Entering Email Accounts: Click on the 'Email Accounts' icon to view the list of existing email accounts.

4. Identifying the Target Email Address: Scroll through to find the email account for which you intend to modify the quota.

5. Adjustment Interface: Adjacent to the selected email address, click the 'Manage' button to access the modification tools.

6. Updating Storage Quota: Navigate to the 'Allocated Storage Space' section. Here, input the revised quota value or opt for the 'Unlimited' setting, as required.

7. Finalising Changes: Click the 'Update Email Settings' button to save and apply the alterations.

Note:
Post completion, the updated quota settings are instantly active, ensuring the email account operates within the new storage parameters.
