How to Retrieve Your Emails via cPanel

Overview:

This documentation outlines the steps and methods to view emails, especially when one requires administrative privileges over email settings not present within the standard webmail interface.

Prerequisites:

  • Admin access to cPanel.
  • Familiarity with the cPanel dashboard.

Procedure:

1. Enter cPanel: Initiate a session by logging into your cPanel.

2. Accessing Email Module: Within the cPanel dashboard, navigate to the 'Email' category and select the 'Email Accounts' icon.

3. Identify Desired Email Account: Scroll through the displayed list and identify the specific email account you wish to manage.

4. Initiate Webmail Session: To the right of your chosen email account, click on the 'Check Email' option. This action will initiate the Roundcube webmail application.

5. Transition to Roundcube Interface: Upon clicking, you'll be directed to the Roundcube webmail dashboard.

Should a prompt appear asking you to choose your default webmail application, simply click 'Open' to access the webmail dashboard. To avoid this prompt during future logins, select the 'Open my inbox when I log in' option by marking the checkbox.
