How do I transfer a domain name
Transferring a domain name entails moving it from one registrar (the company where your domain name is currently registered) to another (e.g. HSJ). Generally, the domain transfer involves unlocking the domain at the current registrar, obtaining a transfer code (also known as EPP code or domain secret) and then initiating the transfer to the new registrar using the code.
Contact your current Registrar to obtain the password for the transfer. Ensure the domain transfer lock is disabled. This will help streamline the process and ensure a smooth transition.
Enter your domain name above and share the domain name password with us. Depending on the top-level domain (TLD), you may need to renew your domain name upon transfer.
After you have submitted your order, we will promptly commence the process of transferring your domain name. You will receive an email to confirm the transfer.
The domain name transfers can take up to 5-7 days to complete once they are confirmed. Rest assured, your domain name, website and emails will remain unaffected during this process.
